Thornton Hall Park Farm

Thornton Hall Farm is around a 20 minute drive from Coldwell Activity Centre, and is located on the outskirts of Barnoldswick on the way to Skipton. It offers a fun filled family day out, for both large groups and individual families, and also has special events throughout the year.

Coldwell Activity Centre has surrounding fields with sheep and cattle grazing. Groups are always asking about seeing lambs and calves so Thornton Hall is a perfect place nearby for them to visit to fulfil this. This is a great day out for a full-day , then another day can be taken up by one of our many on-site activities.

There are acres of farmland, lots of fun activities, and animal encounters. It is a traditional working farm where visitors can meet the animals, have a ride on a 4×4 adventure experience, and play in the Wizzick Play Barn or the outdoor adventure playground.  There is a country tearoom and gift shop, a picnic area and plenty of parking. There is disabled access, although some parts of the farm are restricted, but staff are really helpful and friendly and will help where they can.

Some of the livestock include llamas, goats, ponies, sheep, chickens and rare breeds. At certain times of the year there is also lamb and calf feeding.
