The Pendle Beer Festival

The Pendle Beer Festival is held in Colne Municipal Hall which is around 2.5 miles from Coldwell Activity Centre. The Municipal hall also hosts many more events throughout the year such as tribute bands and well known comedians.

The ever popular Pendle Beer Festival is the biggest real ale event in the country. Running over three days in early February and this time celebrating its 12th year, the event is sure quench your thirst for real ale, pulling in the very best breweries from Lancashire, Yorkshire and beyond.

East Lancashire CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) source a wide selection of over over 100 cask ales, ciders and bottled beers.

This year’s selection included Cripplegate Sloe Stout, Dry Bones, Red Dwarf and Copper Beacons to name but a few.

There are also 2 micropubs in Colne serving a variety of real ale, with various weekly specials.

Colne is the place to be these days with many independent shops and cafes.
