The Heritage Centre in Barrowford is a 15 minute car ride away from Coldwell Activity Centre , and is a lovely place to start before heading up to enjoy Pendle Hill and the Forest of Pendle Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There is a Tea Room overlooking a restored Eighteenth Century Walled Garden – a lovely place to relax with a home-cooked lunch, whatever the weather. The Pendle Art Gallery has jewellery, silk scarves, ceramics and prints by local artists and the Parlour Shop is a great place to find that perfect gift, book or greeting card.  The centre also has a museum, focusing on life in the 1600s, the Pendle Witches,  John Fox and the Quakers and the Bannister family.

It is a great place for our groups to go for a couple of hours whilst staying at our Centre, for further information or to book Coldwell activity Centre, please contact us.
